A good task for a cold, rainy weekend in Jozi.

This is what kept me busy over the weekend. Writing my life story is part of my journey of self-discovery.

Putting an actual pencil to paper no longer comes naturally to this professional online communicator. It’s hard work, but it’s teaching me a lot about myself. I think my head remembers more while my hand is writing.

The page isn’t blank anymore but I have quite a way to go. It’s a long, long story.

Sunday Morning at 44 Stanley Avenue

How have I never blogged about 44 Stanley Avenue, the coolest shopping and dining complex in Joburg, which is only five minutes from my house?

I guess it’s wrong to say I’ve never blogged about 44 Stanley; I’ve mentioned it countless times over the years (see here and here) when writing about specific restaurants or shops that are there. But I’ve never written a dedicated post about 44 Stanley as a destination and it’s about time I did – especially now, with the holidays upon us.
