I really like living on the Lucky 5 Star Commune. There are nice people around here who pet me and tell me I am a beautiful cat. (Of course I know this already but it’s nice to hear it repeated.) I get lots of good cat food and milk, and there is plenty of game-hunting on the property.
Santarama Miniland: WTF?
I recently wrote about my ride on the new Joburg City Sightseeing bus, which I thoroughly enjoyed. The bus ride was great both for my dad, who had just arrived in Joburg and wanted to get a feel for the city, and for me, a Joburg veteran who enjoys seeing her town from different perspectives.

I Saw a Leopard in Pilanesberg
The Pilanesberg Game Reserve is an unusual place. It borders Sun City – a glitzy, Vegas-like resort in South Africa’s Northwest Province. Pilanesberg is small by African game park standards, and Pilanesberg’s animals were originally introduced from other parts of Southern Africa when the reserve was created in 1977. Jozi Round-up
When I first moved to Joburg I blogged about everything I did. Going for a walk, shopping for groceries, sitting in the yard watching birds…No activity was too trivial. Everything was bloggable.
Nearly three years later, my blogging habits have changed. I do a lot more exciting things than I used to and I don’t have the time to blog about them all. I also don’t bring my big camera with me everywhere I go anymore, which means I’m at the mercy of my iPhone camera. Sometimes I get good pictures and sometimes I don’t. If I don’t get enough good pictures, I don’t blog. Hence, I pick and choose my bloggable experiences.
